Day 1: Recovery

Well, Kaylee’s first day is coming to an end. She’s back in her own hospital room and snug in her bed. “Bear Bear” is keeping her company. Her first request – McDonalds Chicken McNuggets and French Fries and a good back scratching from mommy. Grandma and Poppa dropped by to see how Kaylee was doing and hang out with Carol and I. We all talked to aunt Cherie on the phone. It was nice to hear from her. Kaylee’s brother; Kyle called to talk to her too. He said he was happy that everything went okay with day 1.

Surprisingly, Kaylee isn’t really as tired as we thought she would be… I wish I could say the same thing for mommy and daddy.

Kaylee says thank you to all those that have started prayer chains for her. Thank you to all those who are keeping her in their thoughts. Thank you to all those that have offered their help. We appreciate all your support.
